Brian Erickson

Principal

Brian Erickson, AIA, LEED AP, has been immersed in the practice of commercial architecture since 1984, when he graduated from the University of Texas at Austin with a degree in architecture. He is known by both colleagues and clients throughout the Front Range for the imaginative and responsible design ideas he brings to projects, as well as for his high level of client care. Mr. Erickson’s strong leadership style is a natural result of his extensive experience managing a broad spectrum of project types. He excels in design ventures that require an accelerated design and construction schedule and an innovative approach to delivering projects on budget. As a LEED-accredited professional, he brings a pragmatic approach to sustainable design, implementing both passive and active concepts and systems, and has extensive knowledge of the relative value of various construction methods and durability of materials. He offers particular expertise in the design of educational facilities and the renovation of aged buildings, and manages a significant portion of Davis Partnership’s medical tenant improvement projects.

Throughout his education and his professional career, Mr. Erickson has taken advantage of opportunities to live and work in Europe. This included a professional residency program at an American architectural firm based in Rome. Before moving to the Denver area in 1990, Mr. Erickson spent five years at a nationally renowned firm in Cambridge, Massachusetts, and also worked in regions of the Midwest. This diversity of exposure to historic and regional vernaculars has enhanced his ability to respond creatively to the most challenging design problems.
