Senior Healthcare Planner

Martha brings 33 years’ experience in architecture and facilities/real estate management with an 18-year tenure focusing on healthcare including: architecture, strategic planning, land planning/development, and renovation/reuse. Serving eight years as manager of the Kaiser Permanente Design and Construction team, she oversaw $600 million in spending on design and construction projects, equipment replacement; with annual budgets ranging from $20 to $120 million. She managed the opening of two new specialty care centers each over 200,000 SF, opened 10 new medical clinics and the renovation of 13 existing clinics and administrative facilities.

Martha enjoys the collaborative process of multi-disciplined team efforts and strives to have project teams maintain a combined focus of clearly meeting the client’s needs and expectations while delivering elegant design solutions that expand world views and add delight to the built environment from small details to large scale building solutions.
