The South Denver Cardiology Heart Center is a two-story building located in Westview Boundary Area of The Ridge at South Park Development. The site is 7.477 acres located directly adjacent to an electrical substation, to the east. A large detention area is located just outside of the southwest corner of the property line. The south and west portions of the site slope steeply. Building functions include a two-and-half story centrally located atrium or “spine” which serves as a main circulation artery for the building and to which all other building functions connect. The first floor consists of a rehabilitation and wellness component with the latest technology in cardiovascular exercise machines and weight training equipment, a clinical department with exam rooms and physician’s offices, a catheterization lab department with “hotel suite” like patient rooms and two procedure rooms, a diagnostic department with stress echo and treadmill testing facilities and nuclear imaging rooms, an imaging department with an e~Speed EBT Scanner and X-ray facilities, and a conference center with a large multipurpose room including a cooking classroom and demonstration kitchen. The second floor continues the wellness mission with Yoga and Pilates studios, a health spa with massage therapy suites and other amenities, an administration department for the practice with offices and other staff spaces, and future tenant space for complementary practices of medicine.
