Distinguished, contextual design in eye care medical building

Davis Partnership Architects, with Medical Design International as the programming consultant, was selected to design a new ophthalmology facility. The Institute provides all forms of eye care, eyewear prescriptions, and laser vision correction procedures. It is designed with patients, faculty, and staff in mind. The building is contextual yet visually distinguished architecturally. It is connected to the existing Cancer Center, designed by the team of Davis Partnership and Perkins and Will. It incorporates approved palette materials while striking a unique visual identity. A major addition, designed by Davis Partnership, doubles the size of the facility, expands the surgery, office, and conference capabilities while providing a distinctive glass and stone entry flanked by a colonnade.
