Ron Bailie

Architect

Ron grew up in South Dakota working on home renovations, automotive projects and everything in between. He was drawn to studying architecture due to its inherent overlap between technical design and creativity. Ron earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Architectural Studies from the University of Colorado Denver with a certification in Human Centered Design and Innovation. During his undergraduate studies, led workshops teaching students how to use CNC equipment, 3D printers, and develop 3D modeling skills.

Ron supports the healthcare architecture studio at Davis with a focus on drawing production, core/shell envelope detailing, and construction administration. Ron also helps various projects around the office requiring digital fabrication and computational design skills. He sees every project as a new opportunity to learn and improve. Ron is currently pursuing a Master’s degree in Structural Engineering at the University of Colorado Boulder.
