Craig Hospital advocates for and provides exceptional patient and family centered care for those affected by spinal cord and brain injury. They are internationally recognized as a leader in innovative rehabilitation through an interdisciplinary team approach focused on delivering exceptional life quality and independence outcomes. Craig Hospital has been ranked as a Best Hospital for Rehabilitation by U.S. News & World Report for 33 consecutive years and has received numerous other accolades in its almost 125-year history.

The current hospital provides comprehensive inpatient and outpatient care, rehabilitation, neurosurgical rehabilitative care, and long-term follow-up services from its 350,000 sf, 93-bed location in Englewood, Colorado. Half of its patients come from outside of Colorado. To support their existing programs, expand care, and accelerate innovation in neurorehabilitation, they are embarking on their first major project since 2016.

The groundbreaking ceremony was on Friday, October 10th, for the expansion and renovation of the East Building, attended by the President/CEO of Craig Hospital, Dr. Jandel Allen-Davis, current and former board members, Lieutenant Governor, Dianne Primavera, the President and CEO of the Colorado Hospital Association, Jeff Tiemann, and current patients, among others. It marks the first phase of a major  campus expansion and the launch of a $100 million campaign Hope & Homecomings, the largest in the hospital’s history.
