As the Hotel Maverick’s website states…Make Every Moment Count. And the readers of Travel + Leisure magazine couldn’t agree more, ranking it #10 on its list of World’s Best Favorite City Hotels.
A mini destination itself, the Hotel Maverick continues to impress with its amenity rich western atmosphere, views of the mountains and mesas, and boutique feel in the heart of Grand Junction. It embraces the local ethos, with an enriching environment that is a gateway to the many experiences in western Colorado. As it’s website states, “it’s equal parts upscale and down-to-earth living, leaving lasting memories for all who dare to explore”.
A partnership with Colorado Mesa University, the design concept was rooted in their desire to capture an unfulfilled market niche to bring visitors and notoriety to their expanding campus. The Hotel Maverick has 63 boutique hotel rooms including three suites with expansive views of the Western Slope. Guests are immediately welcomed by the modern western décor, soft furnishings, and a warm fireplace. Other amenities include a cozy lobby café, a sun-drenched patio with hot tubs and grills, a fitness room, and a multipurpose classroom to host corporate meetings and educational classroom settings. However, the most memorable feature of the hotel is arguably the upper-level restaurant and outdoor patio, touted as one of the finer restaurants in the city. The unobstructed views of the mountains and mesas to the east and southwest are not to be missed.
So, congratulations to the Hotel Maverick on this honor. We couldn’t agree more with your readers.
