Now in the home stretch, we are thrilled to see the much-needed Precourt Healing Center nearing completion. The only facility of its kind between Grand Junction and the Denver Metro area, the Precourt Healing Center will provide much-needed behavioral health services for underserved mountain communities.

As the centerpiece of the Edwards Community Health Center, the three-story, 28-bed inpatient behavioral health hospital will provide care for adolescent and adult patients on two separate floors. The building’s exterior design is reflective of Vail Health’s recently completed East Wing Expansion in Vail with the interiors providing a calm environment and a nod to nature. . Patient safety was at the forefront of all design decisions. The design team sought to create a warm and home-like environment, with a private bedroom and bathroom for each patient as well as shared amenities such as exercise rooms, activity rooms, quiet rooms, and art spaces. Additionally, exterior courtyards offer opportunities for patients to safely enjoy the outdoors and scenic views of the Vail Valley.
