Associate

Jay has always been one of those people that loved to figure out how things work and are put together; by at first taking toys apart and reassembling them. Jay later in life expanded this curiosity into his love for architecture and design.

His road to practicing architecture came first through a scholarship to run track and cross country at MSSC in Joplin, Missouri, where he completed an associate’s degree in CADD, and then to The University of Kansas where he finished his athletic eligibility and completed his bachelor’s degree in architecture. His firm experience started with a New York firm, working on high end residential projects in Glenwood Springs, CO, and later through a joint venture which brought him to where he is today at Davis Partnership.
