Pioneers Medical Center is a $47 million, 90,000 square foot replacement critical access hospital located on the outskirts of Meeker, Colorado. The design creates an aesthetic character respectful of the past while providing modern healthcare options not formerly available and ensures room to meet the future needs of the community. The region’s rich ranching, sporting and agricultural traditions influence the visual personality of the facility. Highlights of the new medical center include a 12-bed med-surg unit, 30-bed long term care unit, women's imaging and a connected rural healthcare clinic. Pioneers Medical Center opened its doors on June 17th, 2015. We can’t be more excited to share this new hospital experience with the people of Meeker and surrounding region.
