A recent article in The Colorado Trust has praised Sanderson Apartments for their Trauma-Informed Design approach that has lead to 85% of its residents to be engaged in vocational activities or are employed. “That’s not typical in all of our apartment buildings”

Experts say Sanderson is one of the first buildings in the nation to employ an innovative approach called trauma-informed design: transforming the built environment from a place where people are housed into a tool that can help with the recovery process.
