Colorado Christian University in Lakewood, Colorado has been working with Davis Partnership for the last three years to master plan a new campus to replace antiquated facilities and allow for future growth of the almost 100-year old institution. Initial programming and master planning efforts identified the space needs for housing, classrooms, laboratories, office space, libraries, student services, and health and wellness programming projected for three campus student population sizes on multiple potential campus sites. The focal point of the master plan’s first phase called for the design and construction of a new academic building. This 43,000 s.f. building located on the North East side of campus establishes the nucleus of the academic core.
