Davis Partnership was retained by Pensam Capital to redesign and rebrand The Breakers Resort in Aurora, Colorado. The Breakers, now rebranded Tava Waters, is one of the largest rental communities in the country and The Pensam Group wanted to celebrate the vibrant lake-side living and community atmosphere with general site improvements and landscapes, exterior building enhancements and newly remodeled amenities.
The Davis design team, in conjunction with Pensam Group, began with an overall master planning exercise that focused the rebranding to redesign strategies for the property. Each ancillary clubhouse was selected to house a different amenity package including a party rental building, a big screen movie building, a resident information building, a WeWork building along with the culmination of all amenities in the main Catamaran Clubhouse.
The Catamaran Clubhouse contains a workout and exercise gym, climbing wall, locker room, a wellness massage suite, leasing offices and a restaurant with sweeping outside views of the main pool and adjacent lake. The architectural, interiors and site team worked together to remodel all parts of the exterior, interior, and landscape that will appeal to resident’s adventurous attitudes, active lifestyles and their overall sense of community.
The project scope also included new signage, artwork, and furniture throughout all clubhouses the community.
