East Morgan County Hospital, the Banner Healthcare management team, and Davis Partnership Architects worked together to plan a much-needed expansion to the obstetrics and nursing unit services provided by this healthcare facility in Brush, Colorado. The local community was also involved in the planning process, enriching the pool of ideas in architectural planning. The project includes sixteen private medical/surgical patient rooms and three labor/delivery/recovery/postpartum rooms (LDRPs), enhancing privacy for patients and efficiency for caregivers.
