The project consists of a 38,000 square foot stand alone medical office building designed to consolidate the client’s existing outpatient services into one facility in the Battlement Mesa area. The upper level includes the Laboratory, Imaging and Clinics departments. The lower level includes Occupational Health, Physical Therapy and Building Support Services. The design is reminiscent of the base hospital located in the adjacent city of Rifle, also designed by Davis Partnership. Although the buildings are unique, the client desired a similar architectural identity at this location to enhance brand recognition in the two western slope communities.
